The Cape May Zoo is located in Cape May County, NJ, minutes from Wildwood, New Jersey! The zoo admission and parking is free.

The Cape May Zoo contains over 200 species of animals including birds and reptiles in the park-like settings. The zoo started as a 40 acre tract which was donated to Cape May County in 1942. Today, the 120 acre zoo and park includes a playground, nature and bike trails, a fishing pond, and picnic facilities.

Originally started as a child's petting zoo in the mid-1970's, the Cape May zoo has grown into much more today including animals such as cougars, monkeys, tigers, bobcats, exotic birds, lions, and much more!
